1) Make sure you introduce him to the new space while you are there.
2) You should practice on the weekend. Pretend to leave in the new situation. See what mischief he gets into in the brief time you're "testing"
3) Make sure cabinet doors are closed good and that no chemicals or bad stuff is within reach. Remember, they're crafty buggers.
4) I'd make sure the food/water/toy area is the same place 100% of the time.
Ff he has separation anxiety or a desire to chew ... you'll have problems. By testing, you can decide if he's ready to be on his own. |
