So my fiance and I are taking Joey on the train with us tonight and going to my parents place in Pennsylvania. My parents have two little dogs - a Chihuahua and a Miniature Pinscher. We can't wait to introduce Joey to them! It's going to be so fun for him to have other dogs to play with for the weekend. Plus, my parents' place has lots of outdoor space, so there will be lots of grass and trees (we don't have these in Manhattan..haha).
I think it will be good for him - plus, my fiance and I really need to get away from the city for a few days
I am a little worried about taking Joey on the train - it is an hour and a half train ride! I put him in his carrier last night to see how he would react (he has been in it before, but not for awhile) - so, he scratched and scratched trying to get out, but at least he didn't bark. I'm going to bring lots of treats and hope that I can distract him with food! Haha
If anyone has any tips on traveling and keeping your Yorkie entertained, let me know.
