For my best friend's mom, and their entire family. My friend called me today bawling her eyes out - her step dad passed away this morning....Christmas morning
He had a massive heart attack and died right in her mom's dining room. They tried to do CPR, but it was too late.
My friends mom called me tonight and we talked for quite a while (we are all like family) and she was just a wreck. I feel so awful for her as she is such a dear sweet Christian lady and right now she is on an emotional roller coaster.
I will be making the music CD for the funeral but right now we are still trying to decide on what songs to put on the CD. I know one will be George Strait's "I Cross My Heart" as that is the song that he sang for her (his wife) at their wedding.
This is a surprise for her mom though, she doesn't know that we will be including that song on the CD, and it will be played at the end, the very last song.
Anyway, please just say a little prayer that her mom makes it through this. She has said some things already and we are very, very worried about her. So worried in fact that I think my friend and her husband and their two kids might even move in with her mom as she is not the type that can be by herself.
