This is a difficult one, this. You say they where fine for about six and a half months and now don't get on at all? Hmmmm... It's strang,e I'm trying to think why they've suddenly turned agaisnt each other... I think it's good at the moment, that you're keeping them separated. It's one of the best things you can do at the moment, otherwise they might hurt each other - or even you! Maybe you could try and re-introduce them to eachother slowly? Then, if either of them tries to start a fight, is growling, or barking, etc, scold them firmly, and if it continues, scold them again with a firm, but not too hard, smack on the butt. Hopefully they'll ge tthe message soon and will start getting on again! Best of luck,
