One of my Christmas gifts from my Granddaddy was a self-cleaning litterbox. I had one for several years before it broke and have been using a regular box for the past 4 years. I'm excited to have one again! It's a new Littermaid (the largest one). I know someone was saying they didn't like the newer version as well as the older version of the littermaid (which is what I had before). The older one always worked well for me and this new one looks pretty much identical to the old one. Anyway, I'm just glad to have a nice litterbox again

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
