My oldest Diva used to get sick as a puppy...but I found that the more frequent the rides, the quicker they get over car sickness. I have a 8 mth old who still gets sick sometimes when she goes for car rides..but it's not all the time..so I've started taking her a ride every day...like even on a trip to the gas station...so not sure if this is the case but just try to continue taking her for a ride as often as possible and hopefully when she's/he's used to it, the vomiting will stop. Also, try to make sure he/she hasn't had anything to eat at least an hour or so before a ride....at least not until they're not vomiting anymore.
Hang in there...everything's a learning process and we just have to go with the flow. Maybe byou can mention it to your vet also and see what he/she has to offer.

Good Luck
