No animals deserve to live and die like that. I don't care what kind of animal it is. That's why I always say no to any type of fur, I just don't trust that the animals have had a decent life and death.

But in honesty, if the animal had a great life, I don't mind using it for anything. I only eat meat from animals that have been "freeland" (don't know if you have that expression in the states) and I would certainly wear fur if I knew the same applied to the animals used for that. I wouldn't mind wearing cat or dog.
I had a pet calf once, but I don't mind eating cow. I am firm but I am not a hypocrit.
