 Poor Tucker...
...has a nasty rash on his chest. It's red and mean looking and it is definitely making him really uncomfortable. I first noticed it about a week ago and we immediately went to the vets. She couldn't find any cause to it so she thinks it's an allergic reaction to something, we're just not sure to what. She prescribed a supplement and prednisone (1/4 tablet) twice a day for 7 days and then once a day till finished. The rash cleared up but now, unfortunately, we're down to one prednisone a day and the rash is back with a vengeance. Nothing has changed in his environment but maybe the Christmas tree? He eats Canidae with Missing Link. Today I gave him a little Benadryl to make him a little more comfortable until we can get to the vets.
Any ideas on any other way I can help him out or what it could be? TIA |
