Hello everyone, I am not only new to this forum but also a new Yorkie mommy! I have always had Great Danes but a recently got my first yorkie as an X-mas present from my boyfriend. Her name is Shirley and she just turned 4 months december 21st. Now she was a little shy when I first met her at the breeders but she crawled on my lap and fell asleep. The first couple of days she slept all day and didn't play at all. I thought this was normal however her stool was fine, no diarrhea at all. Its been 5 days and she still sleeps almost all day, also she comes out of my room and goes under the table and just sits there. She is starting to play, but only plays for like 15 minutes max until she lays down again. I hope she isn't sick, and is just calm. She is so cute and doesn't like to be away from her mommy (me
) but she doesn't show me a lot of affection. She seems to only lick when there is some sort of residue on my fingers. Is this because she is sick, or because its a new environment, or will she always be this way?
