If these make seeds, save 'em. Plant about half of them right back where the others were but don't pull up all of the plants til they are totally brown. Plant the other half in March or so but let them stay in a cool dry place over winter.
I have regular old fashioned holly hocks; I have different hibiscus colors whose blooms are big as lunch plates. Then, I have some kick-ass growers-Rose of Sharon- that grow like the devil is on their tails. I started white ones with 3 pieces I cut from the creek bank where my sis lived at the time of her death. A friend broght some down from her homeplace in PA. I have a minimum of 500 plants that are gonna have to be pulled up and thrown away this fall. They make great hedges and noise barriers.
I would try to figger out how to send some if anyone wants some. My hubby ships his orchids and antique magic stuff so it cannot be too hard figger how to do it..
