Canidae is fine and lots of people here feed it. It comes in All Life Stages, so that will cover the puppy stage.
I don't like Iams because it doesn't have good ingredients and they do very inhumane animal testing.
A raw diet is actually feeding raw meat. You can do prey model or prepackaged. I'm sure someone will be here soon to explain it. It is not somethin I would do...
