Great advise! I know my university, as I'm sure most others, have a career center. They will help with resumes and make it in tip top shape. Network, network, network! Thats our motto in business school. Just talk to professors, friends that have graduated in your field. You just never know, one of your professors may know someone that can help you get into the door of a company you want. You also might not get the certain job you want at firt, but alot of times (at least in business) your resume may get passed onto another dept that may be better suited for to start off.
