Well, first I would make sure your resume is in order. Make sure you do a really nice job and have a few people proof read it for you. I would also have a cover letter which you might have to change depending on the position you are applying for. It is true to an extent that old saying "it's not what you know but who you know" so if you know anyone out there who might be able to help, now is the time to ask. I would send your resume and cover letter out to as many people as you can find and then try to follow up with a phone call. Let them know that what you might lack in experience, you will make up for with an eagerness to learn and desire to work hard. Good Luck and congratulations! |
