Turbo does not wear a collar. I don't have a problem detangling Turbo when giving him a bath. What I meant was that he gets knots when he's dried! I'm wondering if it's because he scratches himself, rolls on the floor etc. Therefore, I'm wondering what would be the best technique to detangle him without having to give him a bath. (I'm assuming brushing him everyday with a Chris Christensen or Greyhound brush...or Cowboy Magic Detangler which prevents knots from coming back)
On another note, thanks for the Minksheen shampoo advice! Is there a well known conditioner that leaves the hair looking silky? After using conditioner on him, he looks nice and soft for a few hours before the dried cottony texture comes back again. I'm looking for a good product that would make my pup's coat silky for the long run, and not just for a few hours
