When I bought my third Yorkie (the others were older rescues) I was told to take him out to pee after he woke up from a nap, 5-10 minutes after he ate, and right after he played which may be 15 min. or 30 min. I was also told to expect him to poop quite often which he has (he is slowing down.) My 7 mo. rescue pommie poops when he wakes up in the morning, after he eats, at noon, when I come home from school, after he eats his supper, and again before he goes to bed. Even though it is not a large amount, I still think it's a bit often, but it will most likely slow down soon.
Good luck with your Yorkie. Just because you do not have a "teacup" doesn't mean that he won't be a wonderful, loving doggie. Besides, "teacup" is a myth. The term "teacup" is used to hook buyers. I've learned a lot by joining YT. There's always suggestions on proper diet, training, what symptoms to look for if your Yorkie is ill, and many more subjects are covered. Keep checking in. It's great!
