I think I have found my breeder and my gut tells me that everything is good. I have asked opinions in the general YT forum and have gotten good feedback. But I would like to hear it from the professionals.

Here is the website: www.yorkiekiss.com

I think the only thing that concerns me is that the breeder is so young. She does not have years and years of experience and I dont believe that she shows her yorkies, but she seems to do this for the love of her yorkies...is this enough? I dont see any teacup yorkie redflags, but since this is my first, I dont know if my heart is decieving my brain.

I am not in any rush (but I am anxious!). I have also heard on other pet websites that a good breeder does not have to advertise up and coming litters, but she does. The site she advertises on (kijiji) has a lot of byb's.

I have been keeping my options open and have been looking at other breeders, but for one reason or another, I keep coming back to yorkiekiss. I live in a big city with lots of byb's/puppy mills and am scared of handing my money over to just anyone, and potentially getting a puppy that may have health issues that could have been avoided.

Of all the homework I have been doing on my soon to be yorkie, this one seems to be the most important. I am not able to trust my gut completely, because a couple of years ago I was nearly scammed by one of those nigerian scammers offering to give me a gooooorgeous yorkie for free (you know the story, dont you)...lesson learned, but now I feel extra paranoid. This breeder is a 3 hour plane ride away so I may not be actually meeting her. The arrangement we have is that she will ship the puppy to me when she (puppy) is 12 weeks old. I will most likely not be able to fly there to get the puppy because I am going to be starting a new job in January and cant ask for the time off. On weekends my husband works and I have nobody to babysit my daughter...so unless I am able to get the day off work, the pup will have to be shipped.

Anyways, sorry for the loooong story. I appreciate any input you have.
this is not a breeder but more like a broker, imports puppies and sells them. You don't want to go that route.
