It's snowing and snowing here. The roads are so icy I couldn't drive the 30 miles to go to my mom's to help her get dinner ready for tomorrow. At the rate the weather is going, we may not be able to get together at all.

My h went to his mom's for Christmas so I am home alone to try and shovel out. We have a very long driveway and my joints are aching already and I have to keep shoveling as it snows so it won't be so deep when it quits snowing.

Ok, fine - I'm feeling a little sorry for myself. I tried to make one of my favorite soups to have around for lunch and supper and it didn't turn out. First time ever it didn't. So, I'm hungry too.

So, it's me and one sick cat and one sick dog and the other dogs going crazy.

I am very thankful for a warm house and computers and my dogs and my health... and so much more. (sorry, didn't mean to whine so much, I just don't want to spend Christmas Eve alone. )

Is anyone else getting snowed in up here the north country?
