AKC recognizes tatooing as a way of identification. It even asks if the dog is microchipped or tatooed. my husband tatoos his beagles and I want to tatto my yorkies but don't want a big number on them. As a breeder, you must have your dogs either/or if AKC ever comes in to check you. i don't know of any yorkies that have them but wish I did so I could see where they put it. |
