Much is dependent on the female....each is different...anywhere from 6 - 14 months....average is every 8 months.
Rule of thumb breeding should not be done prior to 18 months of age for the female. A male shouldn't be used until 7 months of age or more....as the pups would not be AKC registerable.
I strongly suggest that you read and study everything you can about breeding and the Yorkshire Terrier it's standard and possible genetic health issues.....If testing has not been done, I would strongly recommend that it is......
