I'm leaving the wintry white wonderland outside my cold windows in Iowa today to fly to the hot white sandy beaches of Florida. My parents bought us airline tickets to enjoy Christmas away from home for the very first time in my life! They live there & didn't want to deal with the winter this year.
Anyone else trading cold for warm this holiday season?? Or anyone else trading heat for cold this week??
Yesterday we received about 4-5 inches of snow, but in some places it is much deeper as we had lovely gusting winds giving us blizzardy conditions - oh yeah, I'm going to miss that
- sad thing is it will be here when I get back from the 80-degree temps in a week!
