When I first started using Petzlife, I used it daily for about 8 weeks and brushed almost every day with doggie toothpaste. As I noticed their teeth improving, I used Petzlife every 2-3 days, and brushed every other day.
My boys do not like the spray at all. It freaks them out. I use the gel on my finger and rub it around their mouth. They don't like it, but they tolerate it.
