UUGGHH! Thanks guys. Mouse traps have been set and the dog food and treats have been thrown out. I will be buying yet another bag tomorrow and a big plastic container. This is a huge bag I just purchased last week It's a higher end food and wasn't cheap. That's why I didn't really want to throw it away. But I don't want my little guy to catch anything He's only a puppy so I doubt he'll catch the mice for me, but I sure do wish he could help out! I had a spider problem in my first apartment and my Silky used to help me catch those ( I hate spiders!) So, here we go. I am totally grossed out right now and will be spending tomorrow scrubbing my floors in disinfectant, shampooing my carpets, and throwing out 9/10's of the food in my pantry
