Thanks for your help,Brenda!! I looked at your webstore and I am soooooooooo tempted to buy some of your treats,but really had it in my head that it would be fun to make my own. Do you make the ones on your site?
The recipe that I was going to use calls for 8 cups (total) whole wheat flour and 3/4 cup cornmeal. Does that seem like a normal about of flour or too much? It makes about 36 treats. So if I substitute the whole wheat flour with oat flour, do you think this would work? Also,should I also sub the oat flour for the cornmeal?? Sorry for all of the questions....I just know that my dogs will eat what I give them so I want to know that I am not handing them something unhealthy.
Can I buy oat flour from the grocery store or is this something that I would eed to get at a health food store?
