Default Newbie Question on new borns

My Yorkie's had puppies 1 died and 1 lived. Pregnancy was an accident as father is 15 years and mother is 3 years old. The smaller one is the one that lived. The larger one which died durning birth was just 4.8 ounces.

Mother is just under 3 pounds father is just over 4 pounds. Puppy who lived was born at 3.3 ounces after 23 days tho puppy is 17 ounces. Is it normal for them to grow that much? I look at a couple of the charts online and if this puppy keep growing at this rate he is going to be huge. Also using those charts based on weight at birth puppy is growing way too fast.

Is it possible because it only puppy mother is over feeding him? She is kinda of husky looking. Vet told me she just has lots of baby fat and because she finally opened her eyes today after 21 days she might not have been very mobile which also could be why she is husky. She should start to loose weight over the next couple of weeks. Btw Puppy is barely crawling or moving and vets claim that the grunt of the litters tend to develop slower.

Only reason I am asking on here now is because same vet told me mother did not need a c-section as dogs give birth naturally and after reading this board it seems most small female yorkie's need them. If the vet would have done the c-section I might have 2 live puppies. Also by not doing c-section mother could have died too.

So I am starting to doubt the vet a bit. Wondering if I should switch vets maybe too.

The puppy just wants to sleep all day long too. Not sure if that is because it has no other puppies to play with her or what.

Any insight would be great. Thanks for reading my post.
