Even if you do get a certificate, please make sure to budget for pre op bloodwork and pain meds afterwards. Most people don't realize that those aren't included in the price of the spay or neuter if they've never used a spay/neuter coupon before. Your vet's estimate very likely included them in the total you were given.

Pre op bloodwork can alert your vet to any unseen problem your puppy might have that would make it dangerous for her to be anesthetized like liver disease. It can save her life.

Also make sure that the vet you choose will also remove any retained baby teeth at the same time. If you have to do it separately, it will end up being twice as expensive because it will require another anesthesia. You also want to avoid the risk of two anesthesias.
