They bounce back so fast you won't believe it! I have a boy & a girl and both of them acted like nothing happened the next day. I did give them the pain meds as prescribed, though. Neither one of mine liked the plastic collar. Infact, Max acted like a wild Mustang so his came off immediately! Mia is more mild mannered but didn't like it so I had her wear those Onesies. Both were fine - no infections. I had to bathe Max before the 2 weeks were up and I still didn't have any problems. Good Luck to you both and try not to worry too much! Hugs for your babies!
