I was in emergency today. Jess is perfectly fine, no symptoms of sickness. BUT. she has been liking her vulva a lot for last few days. She was in heat a few month or so ago (don't know for sure). I decided to looked at and... her vulva is RED. doesn't look right at all. I went to the vet immediately.
her blood test is OK, her urine test is not good. some crystals have been found, but the test was not complete because Jess didn't have enough urine.
He told that this is not pyometra, but I don't feel safe....
he gave an antibiotic for 10 days to see if it go away and then she will be spayed. BTW, I do know that in a case of pyometra, antibiotics do not help, only surgery.
again - she doesn't have any symptoms of sickness.
I was calling to my regular vet, but he is an hour from my house. I want to come to him tomorrow morning, but he (honestly) wasn't sound to happy about... Christmas coming>>>> what is a bad luck for my baby before holidays....
if it is NOT a pyometra, what else it can be?
