Last year at this time I was recovering from an injury and could not make the traditional dishes that my family enjoys. On December 29, 2006, Remi walked into my life and I am sure he made my recovery much quicker than expected!!
This is his first real Christmas in our home. He has all of the Santa outfits and the toys. But, today I realized how much he has grown and matured! I spent most of yesterday and today cooking and baking. Remi kept me company for hours and hours, content to relax, doze, and watch me work in the kitchen.
Now that I have taken the time to sit down and relax I realized that Remi seemed to understand that I could not give him the usual attention, daily long walk or games. I think he enjoyed the Christmas background music and all the delicious aromas.
What I wanted to say is that I am proud of my little Remi. He is such a good little boy!
When I read all of your loving comments about your "babies", I am right there with you. In fact, there are really no words to express how much my husband and I love our little Remi!
