I was forwarded your address from Julie K about a Yorkshire Terrier. It is with much hesitation I am doing this but I am left with no other choice. I have a 2 year and 11 month old Yorksire Terrier that needs a new home. I just had a baby 7 weeks ago and this is just not going to work. He is NOT good with other animals or small children. Do NOT think your pet(s) or children are an exception because they are NOT. He has never bitten anyone maliciously nor another animal but he has nipped my husband in route to attack our other pets. Therefore, I cannot run that risk.
Jax needs a caregiver that will give him LOTS of attention and take him on walks. He has been trained but needs the reassurance of training at times. He is a GREAT companion and will make a super indoor pet. Jax is an inside dog, plain and simple. If you are not intending on keeping him inside then this will not work for you.
There are a few stipulations as well. Please know that I will check out your background to make sure he will not be used for testing. I will ask that you pay a nominal fee to insure that he will not be used for testing or will be given to a testing facility. I will also have you sign a contract that if for any reason things do not work out with him, you will return him to me so I can place him in another home.
Jax has been neutered, has all his shots up to date, flea and heartworm treatments are current and he also has pet insurance. This isn't much but I believe it is worth mentioning that we believe he might be developing a cataract in his left eye but our vet says it is in it's early stages and not an issue to his health.
This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do so, please, only contact me if your serious and your intentions are for the best well-being of this animal. I have had over 30 responses so please, only contact me if you can meet the requirements and are serious.
