Default Tummy problems, centrine and amforal

I'm new to this site and looking for some help. We've had Amos and Andy (brothers) for over 14 years. Over all they are very healthy. However, over the last year they seem to share an intestinal flew like sickness. It starts with a high pitch gurgling in their intestines, followed by cramps, occassional vomiting and or diareha but not always, and lasts about 14 hours. We take them to the vet who gives an injection of centrine. In about 1 to 2 hours, the gurgling in the intestines subsides and at 12-14 hours they start to drink water and pee. Then about 20 -24 hours they eat normally and poop. Then about 2 days later the other one gets the same thing. The vet has given us Amforal. This last episode, I heard the intestine sound early as I'm learning what to listen for as the sound is exactly the same in either Yorkie and gave them the liquid (no injection). Everything progressed as in the past. The last three months we've had these episodes at about 32 days increments. Wehave not changed their diet that consists of Pedigree Select, roasted chicken for snacks and 95% lean hamburger. Amos takes a small dose of Tameril-P for alergy control. We've not changed house plants or other routines for years and are at our whits end to determine what is causing this recurring intestine flu.

Anyone experience anything like this with their little bundles of joy?

Thanks. Tom and Renee Mathison, Amos and Andy (the boys) in Kansas City, MO.
