I'm pretty sure Riley has a cotton coat and its driving me crazy. It seems like its always freezy and dry. I thought it had something to do with Riley rolling around on the carpet also. At my old apartment, I had wood floors and Riley's coat wasn't this out of control. I brush him everyday so it doesn't tangle at all. Its just dry and freezy. I think he needs to get trimmed too, but I'm waiting till after Xmas. Does anyone know what I can do to control his hair more?
