I had a friend tell me a story of a couple they knew. They were dating as teenagers and were like 2 years age difference. The guy turned 18 and the girl was 16 and the dad found out they were having sex. Well, the dad pressed charges on the guy for statutory rape and the guy became a convicted sex offender. The couple stayed together and eventually got married. The guy is still registered as a sex offender. How fair was that? |
