I guarantee you will love my sugar cookies! Everyone loves them and always requests them for holidays. The important thing is don't substitute the butter for margarine. I've never tired them with margarine, but I don't think they'd be as yummy. Bet you can't eat just one!

Connie's Sugar Cookies

3 cups powdered sugar
2 cups butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
5 cups flour

Mix thoroughly. Roll out for cut-out cookies or roll into balls and flatten with glass.
Bake about 8 minutes at 350.

Frost with Vanilla Butter Frosting: 1/3 cup butter or margarine, 3 cups powdered sugar, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla, 2 Tbsp milk.
