I just don't understand how anyone can intentionally hurt an animal or person.

I'm in town visiting my parents for the holidays (very small town where I grew up). I worked for the vet here for over 4 years throughout highschool and always visit when I come home. I went by there last week and as I walked in, there were a few people in the waiting room - a couple waiting to talk to the vet and a man on his way out. The man was telling the couple about how his neighbor had a rottweiler that kept getting out of the yard and coming over and chewing things up, including his shoes, and would bark and taunt his penned up dog. He kept telling the neighbor to control his dog, but the neighbor ignored it. He said he got tired of it and shot the dog. But...that he came home later that day and the dog hadn't died and his neighbor had to take it to a vet to get the pellets removed (he was laughing at this point)...ugh...I can understand being annoyed but it's NOT the freakin' dog's fault he has a sh*ty owner! I can understand shooting a dog if you or your pets life is endangered...but just for coming over and barking at your dog and chewing stuff up in your yard??? Come on... People just suck

OMG! What is wrong with that guy? I agree with you! It is the owner's fault, not the dog!!! I would be scared to live close by that guy!!
