Confused Intoducing the new one to the old

Hey everyone, I'm hoping somebody will be able to help me or at least give me some advice. I have a 1.5 year old schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle cross) who is absolutely 100% momma's boy He is a very energetic little boy (10 lbs.) and he LOVES to play with other dogs. Problem is, I have a feeling he is about to get very jealous! In one week (Yay!) I am bringing home my baby yorkie. She is very tiny, at 8 weeks she is weighing 1 lb. Does anyone have any suggestions for introducing them?

A.J, the schnoodle, has had free access to the house for quite some time so I hate to pen him up and take that away from him.

I'm thinking that I will keep the yorkie (KaCee) in a crate out in the living room with me whenever I'm home and let A.J be free as usual. Then when I take KaCee out to play, I will lock A.J up in a room. I also have a 3' x 4' play pen that I think I will put KaCee in when I have to go to work. I'm not sure to let A.J free in the room with the pen or put him in a seperate place.

Sorry for the rambling...any help would be greatly appreciated!
