You know, if you're just giving her a bath for Christmas it's not going to hurt to use human shampoo one time as long as you are careful around the eyes. I've experimented using my Matrix on Sammy. It didn't have the smoothing effect it has on my hair, but I guarantee using it once or twice did not harm her in any way
