Well,I'm back. it has been 8 weeks and he is trying to walk on his own. He moves around alot his back legs are strong. they opened him up a good 4-5 inches below the base of his hd. he had the chiari and a slip disked corrected. geeschhhh... he lost a good 1 /12 lbs and looks skinny....but he has a great attitude and good appetite. he is moving around quit a bit.. he can get up and walks about 5 feet but he is still very shakey. he does get up often now(thank god) but is still a little weak.
will he possibly continue to improve or is this it for him? i wonder?????
when the Pt peeps give him chicken he moves like he has a firecracker up his tush..lol....been 8 he has pt 2-3 times a day and has accu 1 time a week.
any other suggestions as to what i should or could do for him. we take him home every weekend to be with the family but stays the week at the wellness center where he gets alot of attention as well as his therapy..
