Archie was fine after his operation -- he has always had a wonderful temperment, but he was very "pesky" as a pup -- just busy, busy and kind of nuts, you know? He also chewed on my hands all the time. After the operation he did calm down, but it took almost a month for me to see a change. I recently heard from a vet that it can take that long for the testosterone to get out of their systems. He had never started the marking behavior, even though he was 7 months when I had him neutered. He also recovered very quickly -- I'm sure with your TLC and your vet's care, your baby will too!
