I have 3 boys.. I was so scared when I got my first Yorkie mix. He was so tiny. After a while the kids learned to be careful around him. It's new to kids to have something so small that isn't a real toy. I now have a new yorkie baby and they are really careful and watchful around him.. They can live together with supervision..
