Lacy was vaccinated for Lepto when she was a puppy and at a year old. She had no problems from it. It is not a core vaccine like rabies, parvo, and distemper so it's not necessary for every dog. If you live in an area where Lepto cases have been reported or travel to an area with Lepto. your vet will probably advise you to get the vaccine.
