BUT, she does stairs and runs and leaps and bounces off of everything. She dances on her back legs. It's so wierd. The vet watched her walk and thought it was odd, but said it's not time to do surgery yet. I really like my vet and she does know little dogs pretty well, I mean she diagnosed Loki's and I had no idea what an LP was when I got him and she explained it to me. I don't know. I put a call into her to get a referral for a specialist and I'll just get her checked.
it could be that Sam was born with bad knees and she's just used to it. THe chihuahua i fostered had terrible knees. she walked hunched over and with her knees pointed in a odd direction. she was 10 months old at the time. she ran around and jumped with no problems, but that was only because she knew nothing different and had just grown accustom to it. poor thing.

good luck with the specialist!
