The smell of vinegar doesnt linger for too long, but it does absorb the toilet smell as we smell it. White vinegar also makes a great fabric conditioner, as it makes clothes nice and soft and gets rid of odours!
I also use vinegar and water for polishing my furniture, cleaning windows and mirrors, in fact i cant remember the last time i bought any cleaning stuff, i just clean everything with vinegar and water

Kp_23: At one of the wallmart i go to, they do have odor eliminator for animals, they also have the cutest little t-shirts for less than $3. I hope you find it close to you...also some supermarkets will also carry pet products!
