i didn't have that problem with Nathan who because 2 weeks before I got him she had me bring a new baby blanket that i slept on for a week,
which of course had my scent on it and placed it with him in his crate. By the time i got him he was familiar with the scent and no crying at night. He still has the blanket one yr later and we use it in his car seat!!
