FYI - I will be in Kansas City for the holiday, so
if there is a delay in responding to your registration payment or e-mail, please be patient and know that I WILL get back to you when I have a chance.
If you want to pay via check or money order, please send me an e-mail to yorkietalkmeetup@yahoo.com stating that you'd like to register with or without dinner and pay via check or money order. Your registration will be effective from the time I receive either your PayPal payment confirmation or your e-mail stating that you'd like to pay via check or money order (obviously pending that I receive your payment in the mail after I respond with your registration number).
What that means for you, for example, is that if you send your PayPal to me on December 31, even if you don't hear back from me until January 5th, you WILL receive the cheapest registration price, as you DID pay (or notify me of your desire to pay via check or money order) by the January 1st deadline. Therefore, don't freak out on me if you don't hear back from me right away. I have a lot of activities planned with my friends and families while I'm home, and I will not be monitoring the YT e-mail address as often as I do now.
Furthermore, I'm meeting with my contact at the hotel while I'm home so I can see the meeting space in person, along with the area he's going to set the vendors up in, etc. Let me know if you have any additional questions for the hotel, as this will be a great time to get answers in person (although I've been trying to keep everything in writing so far, so nothing can come back on us later). I'll also be checking out the area parks to determine which will be the best location for the Friday meet-up as everyone gets into town.
