Well maybe for some vets it is,don't know. What to feed is such an individual choice. Some say this and some say that. I read the ingredients first and I just choose a higher quality food. My babies are full of energy and seem to get along fine with their food. Two are ten years old and my other is eight. It's hard to tell someone what to feed.
