Tootsy is in heat and growling all the time? Hi everyone
My little Tootsy has gone into heat and has been bleeding for about 10 days now. Last night she started to growl every few minutes. This went on for most of the night!! We had a look around the house to see what could be causing her to growl, but found nothing inside or outside. We checked her nappy to see if it was uncomfortable and in the end decided to remove it, just in case. But this did not stop the growling. We tried cuddling her, rocking her gently, stroking her, but nothing worked. She has been growling on and off all day today and is very restless. She doesn't seem to know what she wants. She is being very picky about her food, too. We just don't know what to do for her. She doesn't appear to be in any pain or discomfort. She is very happy to go for a walk but when she is at home she is restless again. She asks us to play but then soon tires of the game and looks bored. Anyone got any ideas? Perhaps it is just hormonal?
