Spaying Has anyone taken their furbaby to a low cost clinic for spaying? My friend highly recommended one. They do not spend the night like at other vet clinics. You drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the evening. I am so terrified of leaving her a night, so an alternative would be this clinic (run by PAWS). I'm sure they do numerous procedures all the time, however, I was just wondering if any of you have used them and if you felt confident with them. Also, can you share your experiences after picking up your furbaby. How were they behaviorwise for the next few days. I've read in a few books that some yorkies (toy breeds) sometimes never wake up from the surgery. That's why I'm so, so terrified. I'm also terrified that she will be mad at me for taking her to the vet and hold a grudge against me.
My little baby weights 3.2 lbs and is 4 1/2 months. Is this too early (Paws told me they can schedule her for March). I just wanted to get your opinions before I make the appt.
I recently took my little girl to the vet to get her rabies shot and she was crying, not from the needle, but from the little cottonball they swabbed her with! |
