Yea, the crate is left open all day. If he wants to sleep, he just jumps in and lays on the bed that's inside. Otherwise, he gets to go anywhere inside the xpen (or plays around the house when someone is home supervising him).
I guess I'm just being too impatient or overly worried...I will have faith and hope he doesn't cry as much (or at all) in the next 1-2 months.
