Technically the cops cant do anything about it. You have to call the local animal shelter. The animal shelter is the one that will help you in this matter. If I were you I would call them as soon as you can cause them people can get you in some serious trouble for taking thier dog if they want to. Taking the dog to get chipped isn't the smartest thing to do either. It can get you into even more trouble.
Call the animal shelter and do things the right way or you could be looking at some serious heart break down the road. |
