Thanks for that! I do like it...and when I looked to get a replacement camera, I looked at several places...course DH thought $1200 for a camera was a lot (I wanted to get the camera and the lens, etc). Anyway, at last resort I went to Wal-Mart just to see what they had and I needed a new camera right away. Anyway, the guy there showed me a Fuji (?) camera that is basically the same as the Canon, just about the same options, etc. That was about $300. He showed me a binder full of pictures...side by side shots that he had taken using both the Canon and the Fuji....you couldn't tell a difference...in fact, he had to turn over the pictures so I could tell which were which....he had them marked.
So, anyway, I ended up getting that one to make DH happy...and I tell you what...I love it! My MIL says that those are some of the best pictures coming from that camera too.
So, that may be a cheaper option for someone looking for a good camera...just I guess and off brand??
He said too, the picture quality has a lot to do with the person behind the camera!
